254 prefer metal rather than pop/rock ;D All of Dante's costumes were awsome XD I just don't understand the man-bra thing with the one in DMC3  I believe everyone agrees when I say Vergil's coat is badass though ^^ |

yes, I was so hoping he'd be in the anime.. even for just one episode.. *cries* I got an artist at Artist's Alley to commission me a sketch of Nero, then Dante and Vergil as they were in DMC3

I hope that Nero gets an overhaul if he does return... to make his character a bit more unique.
Coolest Dante: DMC2 coat, DMC3 Personality
Coolest Vergil: DMC3 all the way, although some people might argue and say his Nelo Angelo persona was cooler
Coolest Ne- I stopped there before someone shot me for saying something is cool about Nero XD

264 are watching all of us as ANBU Black ops members XD Eheh, well if you think about it, everything that makes him "cool" has no basis in the devil may cry reality and/or is never explained. For instance, his ressemblance to Dante is barely mentioned (barely four word's to say that he has sparda's blood), his sarcastic remarks are not as cleaver as Dante's, and for some reason, even for saying "I've found you" to a huge demon, he's considered an automatic badass by that said devil. His design on its own is a copy/paste of Dante's (why make a character thats almost the same as an existing one?) and finaly, the reason for all his hype, his Devil Bringer, is never even explained as to why it exist. At this point, people from other forums could have written better stories for Nero... I'm not even going to mention that his girlfriend is a walking plot device... and how that girlfriends makes him one of the most annoying character to date |

I agree with pretty much everything you said, but I have ideas on why they did what they did with some of the stuff, even if I don't agree with it. They really should have spent more time on Nero's past (and the Devil Bringer, and the Yamato) and less time on the whole Kyrie thing. That doesn't stop me from loving Nero though. ^_^

I will agree with the fact that he has limitless potential as a character, since nothing's been explained about him... theres a mighty chance he'll come back as a solid character in the next Devil May Cry (god, I do hope there will be!). Hell, he might become Vergil for all we know, since he appeared to be posessed by him when he first wielded the Yamato, and that Devil Bringer has alot to explain for itself XD
I will be very pissed off if Dante and/or Vergil don't make an appearence though, unless the story is freakin' fantastic. Knowing the series, its either hit or miss lol. DMC1 was awsome, DMC2 not so much, then DMC3 came along and ruled the gaming world, and finaly DMC4 created an amazing fanbase although neglected the series' veterans... I hope they make a good decision like they did with Resident Evil 5 and bring back elements from the original games back into the story (I cannot WAIT to see Wesker in RE5 ;D)
