Description: By sending out waves of sonic sound from her sword, she can detect any enemy by means of echolocation. Any movement causes the wave to bounce back to her, and she can 'see' the person hiding. Trees and inanimate objects do not create a wave. Description: Chakra is concentrated around the blade, and then the sword is swung in a wide arc. A wave of chakra and sound rushes in the direction she swung her katana, slicing anything it comes into contact with. The more chakra she uses, the sharper it becomes. It can only move in a single direction, however, but cannot be blocked by physical items and moves at the speed of sound. It can only be dodged by speed of equal amount, or blocked by chakra.

Description: By controlling the sound waves in the air the ninja can virtually create a dome around them and their opponent, blocking all sounds of the sound nin's choosing and toying with the waves that affect the brain. In this way they can cut off their opponent's five senses, giving the shinobi the edge in battle. This takes an enormous amount of chakra to create and even more to maintain.
After Effects: major chakra depletion, disorientation, physical exhaustion. If not used correctly or used by a shinobi other than jonin, could cause unconciousness or death.

Technique Name: Bell Marionettes/Sound Clones

Description: By manipulating the sound of bells, a ninja can create clones of herself, confusing her opponent and striking from all angles. She can also lace an area with bells that are connected to her fingers by chakra strings, hence 'Bell Marionettes.' By moving a specific finger, a certain number of bells chime at certain pitches. This technique was 'adopted' or copied by the Takana clan.
After Effects: minor chakra depletion, but only if misused or overused. You must distribute small amounts of chakra evenly to cause the least amount of depletion

Description: Similar to Konohagakure's Konoha Rising Wind, it is a fast, spiraling kick that adds the use of a blade to it. This makes it doubly dangerous, with a fast kick and a sharp blade spiraling towards an enemy.

Description: A better, faster version of her first. The second Slicing Sound Wave is somewhat of a combination of Broken Blade and Slicing Wave. Being one of the few Takana clan members to weild two same-length blades, Hibiki can combine them at the hilts, creating a double-ended sword, using spiraling attacks and holding them at the center. By spinning them, she can create a high pitched sound wave to directly affect the brain of her opponent, causing him to go unconcious.
She can also create waves of sound all around her, not just in one direction. By using the double-ended weapon as the basis for her Slicing Sound Wave, she is able to produce up to seven consecutive waves instead of only three, but once again she is open to attack afterwards. Hibiki has been able to counter this by creating a defensive shield with her spinning blade.
