In this technique, you need to stop it from cutting back and forth, and make it go a single way. If done correctly, it can redirect any energy, though there are several instances where the amount of attacking power is higher than the defensive power. The only time this doesn't cause a reversal of an attack is during the point where someone uses a lightining jutsu, in which case the lightning dissolves due to it's weakness to wind.

Description: This techinique has three hand signs, and if done fast enough, makes it appear as a single hand sign. This hand sign makes it appear to be the use of the fireball technique, should the speed be done properly. The user will begin to move their chakra throughout the ground in a way of which it cuts the ground deeply and begins to sink bellow it. As the wind gathers at the base of the ground formation (if it was in a mountain, it would be at the bottom, and the base would now be composed of wind) it suddenly pushed into the earth above, launching spike of land to jump, and air to take its place. This Technique is often used for mining.
After Effects: The technique has a major need of chakra, and will leave the source practically drained.

Downgrade the rank to B; it is largely the equivalent of the pre-existing blade of wind from the cannon, and many of temari's jutsu which are quite more destructive than this one are considered B, and even C rank.

How is this an assault technique? A spinning gust of wind here could simply be interpreted as a zephyr with the power of a home-fan. Elaborate alot more. Furthermore, a jutsu like this would have an after-effect; lets not forget that rasengan has them, nevermind the rasen-shuriken. At this stage, it is also not an A-rank technique. Anyway, rasengan is not allowed.

Wind-elemental technique do not use the same hand-seal as fire techniques, and wind can hardly cause land-spikes, unless it charges at it at a rather extreme velocity, and in very focused areas (i.e.: hurricanes do not even cause land-spikes). Hereby, this jutsu is completely unbased in any laws of physics or even plain-out common sense logic. No after-effects? S-rank? Revise this jutsu or delete it entirely.

Wind Release Air Barrier is a defensive technique that is a manipulation of wind, throwing gusts together to protect a set location. I edited the description, but it’s ability is that of a defensive S-Rank.

For Wind Walk, Why shouldn’t it be S rank? It is manipulation of Air and practically allows you to go anywhere and do anything.

For Orb of wind, if a mass production of air picks up speed, it causes a explosive effect, launching wind. Thus, it explodes, though it could be said to simply break apart.


Counter Shot is an assault technique because it sends a blast of wind which can cause damage to the organs. (If I shoot an air soft bee-bee gun at you and it doesn’t pierce skin, you may still have a bruise. Picture Counter shot as an air soft bee-bee gun. It isn’t Rasengan so much as part of the training to Rasengan. The third part of training was putting Counters shot and Inner spinning. Also, as far as after effects go, this doesn’t have one. It makes you lose chakra, but that’s an assumed effect (EVERYTHING makes you lose chakra)


Wind Release: Rasengan Blast is NOT rasengan. It simply takes the basis of rasengan because it is building up energy. It cannot maintain the form of rasengan, and is not nearly as powerful.



Wind Reversal is however is wind manipulation in a way different than normal wind manipulation. Normal wind manipulation is a blade; it goes back and forth, and in both directions. In this technique, you need to stop it from cutting back and forth, and make it go a single way. It seems rather basic, but isn’t.

Okay, the wind barrier protects you in a set area with wind-element chakra... Kaiten offers absolute defense in a full spheric scope. Wind element chakra can be pierced through with a great many deal of things, nevermind the offset that it protects a certain area: in front of you, or where-ever you decide to set your arm. It isn't an S-rank defense jutsu, it isn't even absolute defense, hence, why I told you to downgrade it.

The wind walk, I told you why, and I thought that would be preaty clear. Its B rank, period, because the technique has already been accepted in another profile. If you don't care to look, then I'll simply tell you outright; it was in mine, so I should know.

Orb of wind... Wind is a very intangible matter, like oxygen, and unless you detonate it in some form or manner (which would result in a fire-type jutsu) it cannot explode. However, I'll be indulgent, considering the implications of Chakra could, in fact, alter this.

Counter shot, what you've told me just now is hardly even implied in the description of the jutsu. Avoid making staff members assume what your ability is, and just writte it plain out as it is.

Rasengan blast - It wasn't my only complaint about this ability; change the rank.

Wind reversal technique; well, you didn't even mention that in the technique description at first. Still, wind does not allow you to catch and redirect forms of energy. A physical object could be deflected, yes, but anything past tangible matter would be impossible.

It might not be what you consider an S rank, however, Wind Barrier consists of a constant movement of wind in a defensive aura; it has somewhat of the same basis as Rasengan, but formed into a defensive formation. Rasengan is an A-rank. Wind Barrier is more effective because it doesn’t need as much chakra. Thus, with the slight changes, it is better than Rasengan.

As for Wind Reversal, did you read the updated description?

S-rank doesn't have much to do with chakra consumption, if it did, many, many s-rank jutsu would be downgraded because they use up so much. S-rank is strictly a matter of power, as with Amaterasu for example, and your technique isn't even a rasengan. Hell, I've said more than enough factors as to why it should be a B-rank, and no arguments on your part to go against my logic except what was already stated before-hand. Revert it, or leave it.

I read the description for the wind reversal, and I've just told you what doesn't work in the description; catch and redirect energy. How, for instance, will wind be able to catch and redirect a lightning current? Edit it.

I see for wind reversal that if you have a stream of water going down hill, and your trying to swim up hill, it will push you down hill unless you paddle hard enough. Wind Reversal practically makes the stream. The technique practically makes wind form a stream of water

The thing wrong with wind reversal isn't the principle of it, its the fact that it can redirect energy, and not physical matter. I could understand it pushing something such as fire, water, or even a wall of shuriken, but not something intangible like Chakra or lightning, for instance, it is what I've been trying to say, since it is made out of wind. Aside from that, the modifications made since the begining are very adequate.

physical matter is made up of energy. chakra is a type of energy. if I redirect energy, I redirect the matter in which it makes up. Lightining used in naruto is weak to wind, and is formed by chakra. if the chakra is redirected, the lightning will be aswell. The only true thing that can defy such a flow of power formed by this 'stream' would be sound, and that is because sound waves are infinant in width.

The definition of matter is anything that takes up space. Lightining takes up space, does it not?

Lightning is caused by ionization or particles in the air. Because ions always try to stabilise themselves, they will usualy exchange their charge with another, unstable ion so that they may both achieve that goal. Lightning is intangible, as you cannot catch it and put it in a jar, for instance. Lightning doesn't "take" space, it stems from existing particles in the air. More or less, your body could be the vessel for an immense static charge, for instance.

Wind repels sound, for the record, since sound is caused by vibration within oxygen particles. It is also why there is no sound in space; because of this lack of vibration. You can try it yourself if you wish as well; try talking to someone across the field with the wind blowing in your face; theres a good chance that person will not be able to hear you because it pushes the vibrations your voice makes into the air in the opposite direction.

It is also very doubtful that wind could push a plasmatic radioactive energy such as Chakra, simply because the implications of that type of matter is simply put, immaterial. You cannot brush it under your bed with a broom, no more that a tornado could lift it up and set it somewhere else.

Sorry to burst that bubble, but even without taking a university physics course, that was easy to figure out. Look it up on google, or wikipedia if you desperatly want to argue against me, but please, don't take my reasoning for granted: I know my stuff.

sound waves have great widths, and wind reversal doesn't. It could break part of the sound wave, but it would continue. Lightning is matter. all Particals are matter. Air is matter. the only known none-matter is space. Chakra is the energy. You even said it yourself, Fire could be redirected. the cause of the fire is chakra. if the fire is redirected, so is the chakra.

Sound waves have great and small width depending on the sound being generated, and it has nothing to do with actual space, for instance, large-length sound waves could be projected by an ear-phone over the cubic space equivalent to a bottle-head.

Lightning is not matter; its simply energy, and not all forms of energy transcend from matter. There is acoustic energy, heat energy, solar energy, and they are all set in sound, temperature and radiation: none take space, and none are tangible. You cannot encase lightning in anything, and if you say you can, then have fun with your battery acid cause thats just not it.

Wind cannot redirect ionic energy, which is exactly what lightning is.
