History:
Young Life ---
Zir was born into a family not unlike a normal family. His parents were both ninja, but his father had a job within society that was widely accepted by all. He ran a simple florist stall in the town, making a decent haul every week, helping him bring in the money to his home. His mother did similar work, except what she did was bring food to those who couldn't afford it. Those times were nice, easy for the family to get along. Zir was the third born child in his family, two sisters older than him. He lived for only a few years in the small village before a group of ninja had attacked and murdered everyone in it. Zir and his two older sisters were placed into the care of a man who was to escort them to Konoha, to ensure they would survive to carry on the family line.
The children were taken out of the village by the man, who sped quickly to konoha. He jumped from tree to tree, knowing that they were after him, but he quickly grew tired from bearing the weight of the three children and his paced slowed. the small village wasn't far from konoha, but the man hadn't made it far enough. He made it to only a few feet from the gate before they caught him, knocking him to the ground. Zir hit the ground, though the man tried to catch him, and rolled into some bushes near by, unable to move. He was still a small child and the fall had done damage to his left arm, which was the first thing to hit the ground. Zir had blacked out upon hitting the ground and when he awoke the others were gone, fresh blood staining the ground. Being a child, Zir didn't understand the events that had transpired that night.
Zir sat for nearly an hour, waiting for someone to come, but no one did. After a while, he slowly pulled himself through the bushes and shrubbery to the road, spotting a large gate close by. Zir headed to the gate, was taken by the guards and taken to the military police. After a few days, he was placed into a new family where he was raised.
Academy Life ---
Zir started the academy a bit late, as they had slight problems with the fact that he was from another village and had none of his birth records. He started school a year after he should have and progressed well. He got along with the other students well, even though it was common knowledge that his parents and family had been murdered long ago. The other students hadn't known of his parents death, however, cause their parents wouldn't want them to, but the instructors did. In his final year at the academy, while an instructor was yelling at him for messing up on something simple, she let it slip that his real parents were dead.
Upon hearing this, Zir was taken aback. His parents were dea, but he had been living with them for several years. When he went home and question them about it, they finally revealed the truth to the boy. Zir was at first depressed at the news, but eventually learned to deal with it, though he never was quite himself after. After the day, Zir became a little better in his studies, and worked better on the techniques that they were teaching him. He passed the exams with little problems, being placed with a young Jounin that he could relate to. the sensei had a similar incident occur to his familar in his youth, and could try to help Zir through it.
Genin Life ---
As a Gennin, Zir's sensei showed him many different things, including the chakra types he could control. It was found out that he could use both earth and water types, which wasn't unusual for the village. There was little known of the boy, so many thought he could have been of relation to the legendary Senju clan of the forest, possessing the ability to use wood, but it was never shown. His sensei hadn't any idea where to start with wood techniques, so he had no idea what to do. He was flying blind. It was was by mere incident that Zir had heard about the Masamuri, a troop of Mercenaries based out of konoha, the thought of which tickled at his interests.
Zir learned as much of them as he could and went to the hideout, which he had heard about from a beggar on the streets. The hideout was said to be inside a secret passageway in the basement of an abandoned building. The building was an eyesore; absolutely decrepit, obviously in need of a lot of work. After entering the building, however, you notice immediately the fine craftsmanship of the place, how there was nothing out of place. Inside the building it was absolutely immaculate, someone had put a lot of work into restoring the house. As he made his way to the basement, Zir made note of many signs in a weird language, one he couldn't understand.
"Dan Mitola, grito nog hilan"
He paused when he had reached the last sign. It was the last sign in the chain and it had a weird aura to it. "What do you think you are doing inside this compound?", a strange voice behind him rang eerily. Zir jumped a bit, but regained his composure. He slowly turned around and said, with a straight face,"I am here to learn about Masamuri and by the looks of it, you can tell me all I need to know." The voice came from a shady looking man, who was now just staring at the boy. "Well, I know not how you know of Masamuri, but you dont need to know anything. you are to leave this complex and not return, am I understood?", he asked.
Zir refused to move. "Many apologies, but I will not leave this place. I want to know a few things, the only way I will leave is if you kill me first. I don't think that will look too good on you, killing a defenseless child, fresh out of the academy, who just wandered into this place." The look on the man's face had changed, his eyes showing that Zir was right. "Come with me then. I'll tell you what I am allowed, then you must leave", he said, leading Zir to a room with several chairs in it.
"Masamuri was founded many years by Masamuri Hideo, who was quite skilled in shadow arts. It was said he heald some relation to the Nara clan, but it was never proven. We are, as I am sure you know, Mercenaries by trade, and any one of us in the guild, if you would, could case innumerable damage to this village, but instead choose to use our skills for the aid of the village, and others if needed. Lately, however, the village has turned away from us. They said we were too brutal or something, I never cared too much of their opinion. Nevertheless, we have a new employer...", he finished. The look in his eye told Zir that he'd get no more information from him on the employer, so he asked a different question. ""How does one get indoctrinated into this, guild you called it? How would someone join it?"
"You, join? You are a it young yet, aren't you boy?", he asked. "Answer the question", Zir demanded hastily. The man stared, then continued. "You are becoming a nuisance boy... To enter this guild, you must become chosen by our leader and our employer by completing a difficult mission. This mission will test many things and very few people ever pass it, this is why our guild numbers so few", he finished. With that Zir was pleased and took his leave. every night he trained in private, harnessing special skills that he had discovered early in his geninhood. Zir had discovered that he could, by mixing his chakras, produce a sort of poison. In time he discovered that he could produce different kinds with different amounts of chakra. He had discovered his means of joining the guild and was working to perfect it.
Zir kept the techniques a secret from his sensei and his team mates, they didn't need to know about his ambitions. When it came time for the Chuunin exams, Zir was pitted, in the final round, against a taijutsu user, who was on his team. The match was a difficult one, he was not used to fighting a taijutsu user. He didn't want to resort to his poisons, his sensei and his team mates didn't know about them, but in the end he had no choice. He was forced into using a poison to paralyze his friend temporarily. The effects lasted only a few moments, but he was defenseless and the proctor called the match at his word. The effects lasted nearly ten minutes, but their teamwork was severely scarred from the event. Zir had lost the trust of his team, and even the respect of his sensei.
He made Chuunin, the only one on his team to do so, in the end because he was able to use his chakra sparingly and was able able to stop his foe without killing or severely wounding. His former friends refused to speak with him, and his sensei had disowned him. Alone, he carried on his original goal; to join Masamuri.
Chuunin Life ---
As a chuunin, Zir fought many things. He fought the views of distrust from the public, fought the hatred of his former friends, and fought to be accepted where it really mattered to him. Masamuri finally sat and talked to him now that he was a chuunin. They agreed to let him go on a mission for acceptance. The mission was straight forward. He was to capture someone, to bring them back. The leader preferred him alive, calling death a failure. This confused Zir a bit, but wouldn't be a problem. He handled the mission smoothly, getting back nearly a week before the deadline.
The leader was pleased and the employer was impressed. They accepted Zir into the guild under a few conditions. Zir could no longer have his friends, forced to live without them. His friends had turned their back on him long ago, this mattered not to him. The next thing was that he couldn't have his family. His family had perished in his youth, so this was no problem as well. The last thing was that he could no longer have his name. The gild had already picked a name for him, so he readily accepted it. Zir was known to the guild as Onyx, and if someone outside were to ask his name, he hadn't one to give. Onyx was only within the guild now, he no longer existed outside it.

Zir's family has the unique power to mix their chakra into a sort of poison, with different amounts producing vastly different effects. These effects range from a mild tingling sensation which can potentially distract, to a strong poison which may cause death in a matter of minutes. Zir and his two sisters are currently the only three remaining ninja who may use these techniques, though Zir believes himself to be the last. An added bonus to this ability allows Zir and his sisters to detoxify any substance that enters his system.

Technique Name: Death's Invitation
Rank: S
Element: Poison
Style: Ninja Art

If the antivenom is not delievered within thirty minutes, the victim becomes paralyzed for a time and loses the ability to move, but can still see and feel. If the antivenom is not administered within a half our after, the venom effects the victim's nerves, rendering them useless. The victim loses all feeling and sight. If the antivenom is not administered within and hour after, the victim will perish.
After Effects: The use of this technique causes major fatigue to the user and, if used during battle, will cause him to lose much focus of where he is.

Zir was excited, he had awaited this day for so long. This was it, everything he had trained for, his mission. He knew what would come of this. He was going to be accepted into the Mercenaries, there was no other option. He grabbed a few phials from his desk, one was full of a bubbly green liquid, two others filled with a thick green goo. He placed them carefully into his side pack, then looked around. He went through a checklist in his head, trying to remember if he forgot his Senbon or his small Dirk. After a few minutes, he stepped through the doorway and locked it behind him. this was his apartment. He had not lived his foster parents for several years. They couldn't relate to him any more.
He made his way to the heart of Konoha, his target was here. He was instructed to bring his target back alive, that death was a failure. Zir could handle this with little problem, he told himself. As he walked the streets. he kept and eye out for problems such as the military police or a misplaced group of Jounin. There were younger kids all about, all of which were very likely Genin and would pose no threat, but that was beside the point. After he verified to himself that there was no threat here, he made his way to the target location. It wasn't too long before he stood, looking over the entire city. The Hokage's manor was nearby here, if the ruckus could be heard from there, there would surely be problems. Before he started, Zir withdrew the Senbon and Dirk. He took the green goo and dipped each senbon in it, then let it dry.
Zir placed the green goo back into his pack, then withdrew the red bubbly liquid. He handled with extreme care to prevent spill, slowly dipping his finger into it and coating the blade in it. Zir didn't put much on the blade, then capped it and put it away. After the blade had dried, he placed it into its sheath. Zir had named the blade Dirge. After placing it back in it's sheath, Zir stood. He knew where he was to go, time was running short and he was growing tired. He quickly made his way to the target space. He entered through a window and stuck by a wall. There were a few people talking in the next room. Zir made his way into the room, then forms a series of seals. He stuck by the shadows to avoid being spotted, then released a toxin from his body.
The two ninja continued their ranting, then both suddenly siezed up and dropped to the ground. Zir smirked, then stepped out of the shadows. Just as he stepped out, a third man entered the room. It was the target, he had blown his cover. Immediately a blade was drawn and Zir was charged. Quickly as he could, Zir threw two senbon into the mark's neck, forcing him to stumble back. This was it, all was done. The man dropped backwards to the ground, paralyzed by the poison. Zir hoisted the man onto his shoulder, then made his way back to the hideout. He was given nearly two weeks to do it, but had done it in less than one.
