Obviously, as revealed in shippuden bonds, there's ten bijuu. But which one would you consider to have the most unique abilities, of that which we have seen? We can tell that most of the bijuu have extremely powerful techniques, but which seems to be the best? I find that most people will go for the nine tailed fox, but that's simply because we've actually seen much more screen time of that bijuu.

Well, the more tails a bijuu has the stronger it is said to be, however the zero-tailed beast has pretty much shown us otherwise.
But, with the Zero tailed beast, that was not it's power. It itself might have been very weak, but it used the dark chakra that was in the hearts of others, which made it very strong. It did not use it's own chakra.

Keeping to the limits of your own chakra; that's not a concept used often. Recall how often Naruto calls for the Kyuubi's chakra in order to kill an opponent that is obviously stronger than him

Well, we aren't talking about naruto here, we are talking about the bijuu. Naruto uses the fox's chakra to win, of course, but the fox is said to be the strongest. This is shown by the incredible chakra that naruto calls on. If it was not powerful, he wouldn't be able to use so much of its chakra.

Not much is revealed about the five tailed beast, other than an affiliation to the Magma element. I think that could prove to challenge the Kyuubi

Maybe, but I won't buy into it just yet

I'd have to agree, though I still believe the whole tail thing seems like a bit of BS
